Can the PM5000 series meters be used as a gateway?

The PM5500 series is the only version of the PM5000 series that can be used as a gateway, as they are equipped with both an Ethernet and serial port. This functionality was introduced with firmware version 2.0.1. See FA299853 for how to upgrade the firmware of a PM5500.
The PM5100 and PM5300 series are only equipped with either an Ethernet port or a serial port.
