Why does an ATV12 not power up or display anything on the screen?
Resolution:
If the ATV12 display is blank, the drive may not be receiving power, or it may have an internal hardware fault.
Troubleshooting Steps
- Verify the incoming mains voltage at terminals L1, L2, and L3.
- Measure the DC bus voltage to confirm the drive is receiving and converting power correctly.
- Check the control terminal DC power supplies for the correct voltage levels.
- Inspect the +24 VDC supply on the control terminals. If external devices are connected, disconnect them temporarily and check whether one of them is pulling down the power supply.
- If the drive remains inoperative after these checks, the ATV12 may have an internal hardware failure.
Note: Replacement parts are not available for the ATV12 drive. If the unit is confirmed to be faulty, the recommended solution is to replace the drive.
