Is there CE marking on the HV circuit breakers and contactors ?

The Low Voltage Directive (LVD) 2006/95/EC) applies to low voltage equipment, also used within high-voltage switchgear and controlgear e.g. control circuits, relays of protection, measuring and metering devices, terminal blocks etc.
This equipment, when procured from the market place, has to comply with the LVD and to carry the CE Marking.

H.V. switchgear and controlgear will not carry the CE Marking in relation to the LVD because that would be illegal due to high-voltage products falling outside its scope.

So, all our circuit breakers are not subject to such marking as these high voltage switchgears and do not fall within the scope of the Directive.
They are not accessible to the public and exclusively reserved for use by advised and trained persons, are therefore not covered by the Low Voltage Directive and therefore require no EC marking.
