What are the limits on setting up the password on the ATV630 Process drive?
Resolution:
The menu [8.2 Password] is only regarding the possibility to download/upload configuration. The menu [8.3 Parameter Access] is where one can modify the visibility of all or list of parameters from HMI or communication channels. It will hide the parameter/s but even if the password is set, the visibility can be modified because the menu 8.3 is still accessible even if a password is configured.
