Why do ATV320 parameter changes have no effect?
Resolution:
In many cases, parameter changes cannot be applied on the ATV320 because a Function Block (ATV Logic) program is running. When active, the Function Block logic can override user‑entered parameter values.
To verify this:
Navigate to:
DRI → CONF → FULL → FBM → FBP → NFB → FBST
- FBST = Function Block Status
- If FBST shows anything other than “IDLE,” then a Function Block program is active.
If you change FBST to “STOP,” you may temporarily be able to modify parameters. However, once the Function Block is re‑enabled, it will likely overwrite your changes again.
Because Function Block programs are OEM‑created, you will need to contact the machine builder or OEM for support.
Schneider Electric Drives Technical Support does not have access to OEM Function Block code and cannot modify or override it.
