What can cause an ATV630 or ATV930 drive to have a blank display and not power up?
Resolution:
1. Verify main power supply
- Confirm that line voltage is present at terminals L1, L2, and L3.
- Ensure the incoming power supply is correct and stable.
2. Check DC bus voltage
- Measure voltage across PA+ and PC- terminals.
- If no voltage is present, the drive may not be receiving or converting input power correctly.
3. Inspect internal power supplies
- Verify the presence of:
- +24 VDC
- +10 VDC
- Missing control voltages may indicate an internal power issue.
4. Perform a power cycle
- Turn the drive off and back on.
- Check if the display initializes after restarting.
5. Check communication ports
- Ensure there is no Ethernet cable connected to the Modbus port, as improper connections can interfere with startup in some cases.
