Why the %S1doesn't work fine in M580 Hotstandby system

In fact the %S1 works fine but there is a trick:
In M580 Hotstandby system the CPU is starting all the time in “Wait” mode following a warmstart. This is require by the M580 to diagnose the status of the Hotstandby system before to be operational.
In the configuration screen of the CPU, there is a menu in which, user can define the sections which are execute during the “Wait” status.
By default only the first section is process following a hotstart.
Following a power up, the section initialization is processed but at the second MAST task… %S1 is never detected at 1.

Solution:
The best way to fix this problem consists to use %S1 inside the first section.

When we realize a Stop / Run of the CPU following the first Mast task, (at the middle of the process), the CPU restart without having to move in Wait mode (because the hotstandby know the status of the other CPU).

When we push on the reset button of the CPU, we realize a cold start so M580 start in Wait mode during the first Mast task

In standalone M580 CPU, the behavior is more classical, because the CPU don’t have to diagnose the Status of the Standby so the CPU don’t start in Wait…
