There are often times when you are testing or reproducing a problem that you have to time-stamp an event; for example a communications error
that you are trying to capture on a Wireshark trace.  Attached is a simple Structured Text example of a DFB that can be used for that. It is demonstrated
in a short application that stamps when a hot-standby system swaps but it can be used for many events.
