What are the Thermal Monitoring options for Motor Control Centers

Model 6 Motor Control Center Thermal Monitoring solution is a removable, stand alone, "in unit" feature that can be applied to Feeders, Starters, Soft Start Controllers and Adjustable Speed Drives with basic Line or Load power circuits with Powerpact series B, H, J (plug on or cabled) and L (cabled) frame circuit breaker disconnects. This unique offer is designed to continuously monitor critical connections by using thermal sensors to detect thermal rise conditions for each phase connection point. An external single LED status indicator is provided on the unit disconnect mechanism to clearly display thermal status conditions.

The Thermal Monitoring solution includes Modbus RS485 serial communications capability. iMCC Network solutions with this feature are available under special order configurations.

Thermal Monitoring can be configured to order using the product selector tool, it is found under the "Common Device Options".
