What is the level of noise of the iCT contactors?

All modular contactors iCT (from 16 to 100A) are controlled in noise level at 30dB at 30cm during manufacturing.
In operating condition, the noise level should be :

• Less than 25dB at 1m (outside enclosure without door) when new,
• Less than 35dB at 1m (outside enclosure without door) after ageing,

provided that they are installed, maintained and used consistent with their destination, regulations, applicable standards, manufacturer’s instructions and rules of art.
When the contactor switch On or switch Off the noise is higher but during a very short time.
We can recommend to use enclosure door to reduce outside noise level.
