Altivar as a Profinet device. Profinet Communication operation after upstream Altivar drive is OFF.

Will profinet communication work for downstream devices if subjected device (ATV+VW3A3627)  connected to profinet via daisy chain architecture is switched off ?

If a device in daisy chain architecture (profinet, ethernet) is switched off, all the other devices downstream the subjected drive will loose communication unless ring topology is arranged.
Profinet or ethernet communication is not transferred from left RJ45 port to the right RJ45 port (or opposite) on profinet or ethernet card if the drive where profinet card is inserted to is not supplied.
To make profinet or ethernet network always work we propose external 24V supply for all drives in daisy chain.
