Why does my ATS22 S6U not run when 120VAC is closed to LI1 and LI2?

Issue:
My ATS22 S6U will not run when 120VAC is at LI1 and LI2.

Product line:
ATS22 Soft Starters

Environment:
S6U versions, All serial numbers.

Cause:
Incorrect wiring.

Resolution:
On the S6U version, it is necessary to tie Neutral not only to CL2, but also to the COM terminal.
