What does a Typical Heat Dissipation value mean and what factors affect it?

Issue:
Meaning and factors of Typical Heat Dissipation value.

Product Line:
Altivar, ATV630, ATV930, ATV61, ATV71

Environment:
All

Cause:
NA

Resolution:
Input voltage can affect the motor current when running at full speed. A low input voltage can make the current increase which will increase the conduction losses in the drive.
Also, the switching frequency used will affect the losses. A higher frequency will have higher switching losses in the IGBTs.
So if everything is nominal, then the typical value should be correct. But it is not a guaranteed maximum due to these other factors.
