How can I connect an external enable/disable input to my Tesys LTMR Starter?

Customer needs to connect an external "run permissive" input to the LTMR to use as an external shutdown interlock.

Function clarification needed.
Resolution:
I.3 input can be used as an 'external ready' input. This function is disabled by default and must be enabled in the LTMR via Somove programming or on the keypad. This function can also be enabled / disabled via serial communication at register 1250. Bit 1 enables/disables this function. Bit 0 and bit 2-15 of this register are reserved and should never be altered.
