Why am I getting a DB short circuit on my ATV930 series drive? I am not using a braking resistor.

Issue:
My ATV930 series drive is detecting "DB unit sh. circuit" but I am not using a braking resistor.

Product Line:
ATV930

Environment:
All models, All serial numbers

Cause:
The drive does not have a braking module connected

Resolution:
If a braking module is not connected, the drive will show "DB unit sh. circuit" by default.  It is necessary to disable this function on those ATV930 series drives that do not have a braking module connected.

Navigate from the main menu to [ Complete settings] - [Error/Warning handling] - [Braking Resistor monit] and change Braking Resistor monit parameter to Ignore.
