What can cause communication lag on a Magelis HMI?
Issue:
The variables on the HMI are refreshing very slowly.

Resolution:
It is possible that too many actions that write to PLC tags can slow down communications. This is especially true if the actions are running at a high frequency. For example, if you have several periodic actions running every 0.1 seconds, this will cause unnecessary traffic. If you find that there are some actions that can be slowed down, and that these actions can be executed on data change, make the change and this will improve the communication performance time.
