Do LVCTs (Low Voltage Current Transformers) need shorting blocks?

Issue
User needs to know if LVCTs can be installed on their own or if they need shorting blocks.

Product Line
LVCTs, Rogowski Coils

Environment
Installation of meter using LVCTs.

Cause
User is unsure if shorting blocks are necessary to use when installing LVCTs.

Resolution
LVCTs do not need shorting blocks. If a 0.33V CT is shorted, the internal burden resistor and the CT would be shorted at the same time.
This would effectively be the same as shorting a current secondary CT. While this would cause no harm, it is unnecessary.
