How do you wire a 9001K or 9001SK speed potentiometer?
Issue:
Customer is trying to find information on how to install a 9001K2108 Speed pot.

Product line:
Push Buttons and Operator Interface

Environment:
9001K, 9001SK potentiometer

Cause:
Wiring

Resolution:
See the attached Instruction bulletin for the Speed pot.  Typical speed pot wiring is Positive, Negative and Wiper contacts.  Positive goes to the power supply, typically +10VDC.  The Negative goes to the Common terminal. The Wiper is the output signal.

For the 9001 series, we use Terminals 1 (Positive), 2 (Wiper) and 3 (Negative).

If you find the speed pot is not outputting the correct voltage, try reversing terminals 1 and 3 (Negative and Positive).
