Which motor control type should be used for a pump or fan application on an ATV630 Drive?

Issue:
On an ATV630 what motor control type should be used for a pump or fan application?

Product Line:
Altivar 630

Environment:
Pump or fan applications

Cause:
Basic programming

Resolution:
U/F VC Quad should be used for pumps and fans.


In some applications that require higher starting torque other motor control types may be required.
