ViewX does not recognize its file based client license
The below article may become useful if a particular ViewX client does not recognize its own file based client license.

As the first step, please make sure the client licensing is correctly configured as per FA299727.

Sometimes a ViewX client is not able to recognize its file based client license even if it is correctly configured. It may also be the case with the ViewX client installed on the same box with the ClearSCADA Server even if the ClearSCADA Server is able to recognize its file based server license successfully.

In this situation, the problem may be caused by the operating system's security settings that may block the ViewX client from reading its file based client license if the license is located on the Windows Desktop or in the Documents folder. The easiest workaround is to create a separate folder on the C: drive and place the license in the newly created folder. Make sure the Configure Connections and the License Details (if the ViewX client in on the same box with the ClearSCADA Server) reflect the new location of the license file.
