Will the Peak Menu Max amperage function capture the maximum amperage of a short circuit?

Models: 2.0A, 3.0A, 5.0A and 6.0A, 5.0P, 6.0P, 5.0H, 6.0H, 5.2A,5.3A, 6.2A,6.3A, 5.2E,5.3E,6.2E and 6.3E

Resolution:
The peak or max current function is only for load currents and overloads and slowly rising ground faults.  This function is not meant to capture the maximum current during a short circuit.
