PlantStruxure PES[V4.3]: How to configure MMM Tools from MMM Segment Library in PES.

Goals and Symptoms


In MMM Segment Library there is a feature available called MMM Tools which logs user entry for Operator Notes, Bypass of Interlocks and Process Feedback for Instances during Operation Runtime and display the list of those entries for easy analysis. To get this MMM Tools working properly, it require some configuration outside PES. This document provide detailed configuration steps for MMM Tools.



Facts and Changes


This document is created specifically for PES V4.3 SP1 and PlantStruxure MMM Library for PES 2017. However the same can be used for other versions as the configuration steps does not change. However user need to use specific version of Include Project "MMM_Include1p1" according to the MMM Library version used in Project.


Causes and Fixes

Incorrect configuration for MMM Tools can result in not logging any entries made in Runtime, Database not sync between Primary and Standby SCADA Servers or Client machine cannot see the entries.
