Why isn't it possible to insert profinet communication card into slot 3 of older LXM32M?
In 2014 year, the LXM32M product passed evolution. Slot 3 for fieldbus communication was modified and got "deeper" dimensions and since then it can accept profinet card VW3M3308.
To know whether existing LXM32M is ready for profinet card, its version must be checked to have : RS version >= 03 and DOM of >= 2014
Older versions of RS or DOM are not compatible with profinet card.
