What would cause an bOF or brake resistor overload fault on the ATV630 and ATV930 Process drives?

Issue:
ATV630 and ATV930 causes with an bOF or brake resistor overload fault.

Product Line:
ATV630 and ATV930 Process drives

Environment:
All

Cause:
Parameter setting of the braking resistor not correct (brtC, brV, brP)

Resolution:
Principle:
The thermal model of the braking resistor has detected and overload. The themal state of the BR can be monitored with the parameter tHb.

Probable cause:
- parameter setting of the braking resistor not correct (brtC, brV, brP)

Remedies:
- check the nominal power of the braking resistor.
- verify the BR parameters brP, brV, brtC
- check with SoMove service section the thermal states TH1R / TH2R / TH3R
- check the thermal state parameter tHb [Braking Resistor monitoring]
