Can ANY of the Canadian, single phase, QO, CQO, or CHOM, NEMA 3R, main breaker or main lug load centers be top or bottom fed?

Issue:
Product design feature

Product Line:
QO and Homeline Load Centers

Resolution:
TOP FEEDING:

ALL of these load centers come with the main breaker or main lugs located at the top of the load center interior and can be top fed as standard.
NOTE: When entering above live parts, ALWAYS make sure to use CSA approved (or UL listed) liquid tight or watertight hubs and conduit fittings.

BOTTOM FEEDING:
NOTE: BOTTOM FEEDING OF THESE LOAD CENTERS WILL BE COMPLETELY DEPENDENT ON LOCAL CODE AUTHORITY ACCEPTANCE.

1) For QO2L70RB and CHOM24L70RB, the wires could enter the bottom endwall and be routed up past the interior and looped into the main lugs.

2) For QO6L100RB, QO8L100RB, CHOM612L100RB, and CHOM48L125GRB, the wires could enter the bottom endwall and be routed straight up into the main lugs or routed past the interior and looped into the main lugs at the top of the interior.

3) For all the remaining main lug load centers not mentioned above, the wires could enter the bottom endwall and be routed through the gutter area past the interior and looped into the main lugs at the top of the interior.

4) All of the main breaker load centers CANNOT be bottom fed due to the CSA required service entrance barrier.
