Device Type Editor - Error message: 'Cannot find ProductRegInfo'
Issue
Device Type Installer (DTI) or Device Type Editor (DTE) gives an error when attempting to install device type: 'Cannot find ProductRegInfo'.

Device Type Installer - (PME 8.2 and earlier)
Device Type Editor - (PME 9.0 and later)
Cause
The user does not have permission to add the following keys to the PME registry path:
Added Registry Key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Schneider Electric\Power Monitoring Expert\9.0\DeviceInfo\<Device_Name>\DefaultFirmware
Added Registry Key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Schneider Electric\Power Monitoring Expert\9.0\DeviceInfo\<Device_Name>\TemplateStrings\DefaultVoltsMode
Resolution
Use a Windows administrator account to create a new Device Type or run Management Console/Device Type Editor as an administrator directly.
