What would cause the ATV630 (or ATV930) M/S configured drives (Multidrive) not to start?

Resolution:
In a MultiDrive Master/Slave configuration, all slave drives must receive and maintain a valid run command before a run command is sent to the master drive.
If the master drive receives a run command before all slave drives have an active run command, the MultiDrive system will not start.

To resolve this issue:

  1. Verify that every slave drive has an active run command.
  2. Confirm the run commands are present on all slave drives before issuing the run command to the master drive.
  3. Reissue the run command to the master drive after all slave drives are ready.

Following the correct run command sequence ensures proper startup of the MultiDrive system.
