M580 - Lost connection while transferring and can not reconnect
Issue
The PC glitched in the middle of transferring a project to the M580 and now can not reconnect using either USB or Ethernet.
Product line
Unity Pro, M580
Resolution
Try powering down and moving the M580 one slot over to the right. Power up and connect using USB (or default ip address) and it should inform you that the CPU is not configured. Transfer the project to the M580 and at the end of a successful transfer it will still report as unconfigured, this is not a problem. Power the M580 down and move back to slot 0. Once it powers up, it will have the program that was just transferred and communications should be restored over Ethernet and USB.
