How does the Fast Stop work on the Altivar 320 drives?

Issue:
How does the Ramp Divider (DCF) affect the deceleration time when the Fast Stop function is used on the AT320 drives?

Product Line:
Altivar 320 ATV320 MACHINE drive

Resolution:
How to figure the resulting ramp time. When using the Fast stop assignment to a logic input (FST = LIx) or as the Type of Stop (STT = FST), the Ramp divider (DCF) affects the normal DEC setting:Fast stop ramp time = DEC divided by DCFDCF is adjustable from 0 to 10Examples:If DEC = 20sec and DCF = 2, then the fast stop ramp is 20 / 2 = 10secIf DEC = 20sec and DCF = 4, then the fast stop ramp is 20 / 4 = 5sec
