PM5500 series meter display does not come on in a switchboard?

Cause
The display for the PM5500 series meter is blank, the Operation/ Status LED is off and the display cable is connected properly.

Resolution
In a switchboard the gear comes pre-wired for the PM5500 series meter’s voltage, current and control power terminals. There is a disconnect switch in the gear that needs to be switched on in order for the PM5500 series meter to have control power for operation.
