How to prevent HMIPSP series of Magelis IPC from randomly freezing?

Issue:
The HMIPSP series of Magelis IPC is randomly freezing. The touch screen is unresponsive after a few minutes of operation.

Product Line:
Magelis HMIPSP series

Resolution:
It is possible that there are some units of HMIPSP that can randomly freeze. The most common cause for this freeze is a setting in the BIOS. It is called the CPU C-States and can be found under "Advanced Tab" and "CPU Configuration" in the BIOS.

If we deactivate this setting, the freezes will stop.
