Resolution:
The Normally open / Normally Closed operation is dependant on the type of Globe valve used, not the Actuator. The VB-7XXX series globe valve's p/n dictates if Stem up Normally open , or Stem up Normally closed
The MA-5213 is a Spring Return (SR) , 2 Way actuator and used with a VB-721X valve, it would be a Stem up / Normally opened operation. Whereas the VB-722X valve is a Stem up Normally closed valve .
