Why a new hardware has been design on M580 PLC range with FW V2.90?
A new Hardware has been design to replace the front panel Ethernet switch embedded inside this PLC range.
In the past we have obeseved a lake of robustness on this switch. Although the occurance of the problems was low, it was considered necessary to improve the robustness of this switch.
In 2019 M580 Safety CPUs don't support this new hardware so M580 Safety CPUs don't support SV2.90 in 2019.
