How can a project be cleared from an M340?

Issue
Attempting to load a program to an M340 that is password protected with a forgotten password.

Product line
Modicon M340, Unity Pro, Control Expert

Resolution
Power down, remove SD card and power up. Transfer the new program to the M340 then insert the SD card under power and update it with the new just transferred program.
