Yes, there is a Trial version of EcoStruxure Machine SCADA Expert v8.1.
The latest version for v8.1 as of December 19, 2019 is v8.1 SP5.
The version which supersedes v8.1 is v2020.

The Editor (Configuration Software) Trial will run for 40 hours of use.
The Runtime (HMI) will run for two hours at a time.
