How to fix the error of Unsolved External Symbol ‘max’ & ‘min’ after UMAC

  1. Issue
After converting the program by UMAC3.15, customer fail to build the program with IEC_BMDI_Q block in Control Expert, and reports the error information as bellow:
Linker – Unresolved External Symbol: “max”
Linker – Unresolved External Symbol: “min”

  1. Resolution
Please install the “UMACLibInstaller.exe” from the attached for installing the UMAC library into the Control Expert V14.0. Then open the application and build to check whether the error has been fixed.
