Disturbance Direction Detection status indicators won't update

Issue
Disturbances are occurring but Disturbance Direction Detection is not seeing any of the disturbances.

Cause
When Designer is open, the objects that it has open are locked from operation, meaning that they will not operate until Designer is closed. DDD waits for an event to occur and stops before displaying it had seen an event.

Resolution

1. Check that all nominal values are set properly.
2. In Vista check the disturbance log for any disturbances coming in.
3. If the disturbance log is not up to date, make sure Designer is closed and restart VIP.DDD, ION Query Service, and ION Log Inserter.

If this does not bring in disturbances, an External Numeric or Arithmetic module could be used to control the input values. Use Designer to create simulated conditions to trigger a disturbance.
