Where is voltage taken from on Masterpact and Powerpact breakers with P and H Micrologic trip units?
Issue:
Where is voltage taken from on breakers with internal voltage sensing?
Product Line:
Circuit Breakers
Resolution:
The default location for the voltage reference on a Masterpact or Powerpact breaker is the bottom terminals or load side terminals of a forward fed breaker.
On a Masterpact, this can be changed in the field by adding an external voltage sensing kit. This kit replaces the internal sensing and has flying leads that can be attached to the top terminals or wherever else is desire. On Powerpact breakers with internal sensing, an external voltage sensing kit cannot be added; for top terminal voltage reference it must be ordered with external sensing.
