Resolution

The following tools can be used to help troubleshoot the PLC Simulator related issues:  The tools can be found in the folder named C:\Program Files (x86)\Schneider Electric\Control Expert 14.1\PLC_Simulator'.

  • 'logger.exe'
  • 'StartTrc.exe'

'Logger.exe will provide a log of any errors encountered.
'StartTRc,exe' will show the communication activity between the PLC Simulator and Unity or Control Expert.
