How is it possible to get the serial number of a M580 PLC range's CPU without removing it from the rack?

There is a very simple solution to get the serial number of a CPU without removing it from the rack: The Serial Number is coding in the barre code on the front panel of the CPU. So with a simple mobile phone the client is able to get it.

If our customer need to get the PV of the CPUs, he will have to send L3 tech support the Serial Number of the CPUs and =S=  will provide him the PV of the CPUs.

NB: The SV is not available in the barre code because the client will upgrade it.
