Resolution:
These switches accept Class H or K fuses as standard. Options include Class R fuses (field install Class R fuse kit HRK4060) and Class J fuses (field relocate the fuse base assembly to alternate position marked in the enclosure). With Class H or K fuses installed, the switches are UL/CSA listed for use on systems with up to 10 kA RMS available fault current. With Class R or J fuses installed, the switches are UL/CSA listed for use on systems with up to 200 kA RMS available fault current.

NOTE: DO NOT USE RENEWABLE LINK FUSES IN SQUARE D SAFETY SWITCHES. The use of renewable link fuses may adversely affect user safety, impair reliability, and will void the warranty.
