Can the operating handle of a H60XFA circuit breaker enclosure be padlocked in the OFF position?
Issue:
Product Features
Product Line:
Heavy Duty Safety Switches
Resolution:
Yes, the external operating handle is provided with provisions for padlocking the handle in the OFF position. With the external operating handle in the OFF position, push the padlock provision tab located on the handle back, which will then allow a padlock to be placed around the handle.
NOTE: WITHOUT PUSHING THE LOCKING PROVISION TAB ON THE HANDLE BACK, A PADLOCK COULD BE PLACED AROUND THE HANDLE, BUT IT WOULD NOT LOCK THE HANDLE IN PLACE. THE LOCKING PROVISION TAB MUST BE PUSHED BACK TO ACTIVATE THE LOCKING MECHANISM.
