No, the material of the NEMA 3R enclosure is galvanneal painted steel. However, the NEMA 4, 4X, 5 stainless steel switches (suffix DS or SS) are suitable for NEMA 3R applications by removing the drain screw from the bottom endwall of the enclosure.
