How many auxiliary contacts can be installed on a NEMA size 0, 1, or 2 reversing contactor or starter?

Resolution:
Qty (4) are allowed for each 2- or 3-pole contactor; however, they must all be installed on the outer side of the contactor, as the mechanical interlock between the contactors prevents any auxiliary contacts from being installed on the inner side. The auxiliary contacts are "stacked", or "mounted in tandem" on the outer side of each contactor. When adding 4 external auxiliary contacts to one Size o or 1 contactor, remove one of the return springs. Refer to 9999 SX auxiliary contact instruction bulletin.
