Modicon Momentum 984 with a new Proface HMI

Issue

Using a legacy Momentum 171CCC/CCSxxxxx and the latest Proface HMI will pose communication issues. The newest Magelis models do the same thing with the legacy Momentum.

Product Line

Modicon Momentum, Magelis, ProFace.

Resolution

The solution is to create a situation where the HMI will read from the Momentum periodically (Script / D script). The new HMI models can have long periods of inactivity and the legacy Momentum will close the port after 10 minutes.
