Why are there two different current ratings given on the ATS22 soft starter?

Issue:
Why are there two different current ratings In and icL given on the ATS22 soft starter?

Resolution:
-ICL is the current nominal of the starter, the starter is able to be through by this current continuously

-In is nominal current setting of the motor. In factory setting, the current In is the most common current of the motor issue of the NEC current table @ 460V . The control, limitation current are indexed on motor FLA.

You pick the soft starter bases on the IN ratings to match your motor FLA
