With regard to the Sense monitoring integration to the Energy Center, is there any benefit to having the battery or solar installed in the Square D bussing rather than the Tesla Gateway 2 internal panelboard?

Installing both AC battery and solar breakers in the Energy Center allows both of those circuits to be measured by the Wiser Solar CTs. Though this will not allow for separate measurement of battery and solar power, it will allow for proper operation of the Wiser Energy load identification function. If it is not possible to locate the breakers in Energy Center, it is recommended to use a CT extension cord and install the Wiser solar CTs around the AC battery and solar wires in the backup gateway.
