Can an External 24 VDC Supply Be Used for the STO Circuit on an ATV340?

Resolution:
Yes. An external 24 VDC power supply can be used with the Safe Torque Off (STO) circuit on the ATV340 drive.

Ensure the external supply meets the required voltage and reliability specifications. Follow the recommended wiring diagrams provided in the ATV340 Installation Manual. To maintain safety compliance, review ATV340 Embedded Safety function manual (STO).
