What does the WR mean on my X Series receptacle?
The WR stands for Weather Resistant. They are typically used in outdoor applications along with outdoor rated box and cover. However, You can use these on the inside of a house (especially useful in wet environments like bathrooms and kitchens). All local codes must be followed.
