Why there is an embedded battery inside EVlink Pro AC ?

The battery is used to save the time and date in case of shut down. All other internal data are not saved by the battery. It is not necessary to back up any data before replacing the battery.
The battery reference is BRV2032 (3V) and its Max life is 10 years.
Power OFF the charging station before replace the battery.
